Male lost his mojo?!

Your female is fantastic! Hope to see more classic leos around. Male is nice as well.
She looks plump, but looking like she does, you should be able to see movement if she is still pregnant. The stress of moving may have disrupted them enough.

Unfortunately I found this in the tank this morning. A very very early stages of a undeveloped Ray.

Maybe explain why he left her alone.

I dozed the tank with prazi last night as had concerns male male be suffering flukes. It must have caused female to have miscarriage :(

Honestly I'm probably not the one to ask. That said, are you sure the mating on June 30th was the one that produced the aborted pup? For over three months of development that doesn't seem very far along. I have also heard of some rays being pregnant for six months, forget what species it was but it was a black ray.

Hopefully someone else with more knowledge chimes in. I could be way off, this is just what came to my mind. Regardless, your leo is gorgeous!
You’re probably referring to my henlei who held her pups 200 days.

It happens. My male will sometimes go months before breeding her. But he is catching on now with time and seems to be more horny than he use to be.
