male nipping at female??

Eminas is a friend of mine and i reckon hes got two females.

Hey Ern, post some pics up of your bichirs anal fins and make sure you've got it right i'm sceptical the are of different sex. Lets see some other opinions.

yeh anythings possible...

originally i was dead set they were male and female, now as they get bigger im not so sure... i will fish them both out next water change and have a good look at their anals...

assuming i had 2 females, would this make more sense?

anyways, got 1 longfin sen, 1 albino longfin sen and 1 del arriving by the end of the week... so once ive fattened them up, hopefully i can add to lessen the fighting...

more is always better! I have sens that always get along good, but I had 2 ornates who seemed to go at it time to time, got a 3rd one and there has peace since.
The new one and biggest one get along, the second one that caused the trouble hangs out alone most of the time but no big spats since.

thats another thing... ive seen people with all different sized polys together, is it common for the smaller ones to be bullied when there is say 5 or more...?
