its a 30g. theres only the 2 angels, 1 small fire tail gourami (smaller than the angels), and about 20 tetra. i will be purchasing a 60g tho this week so they can have more space. i kinda thought i crowded the tank with tetra.

Don't keep angels with the tetras. As the angels grow the tetras will slowly disappear. A 60 gallon is plenty for them most likely. I've found from experience that when you keep multiple angela ray sometimes you only need 35 gallons, and other times you need as much as 125. It all depends on the personality and how well they get along. Just keep in mind that some of them will be very mean and others will be beat up on alot from being too shy. You never know what you'll get out of these amazing fish. With my angels I noticed that whenever you think you have a grip on them and know their next move, they turn around and do something you'd never expect! Very unpredictable fish. Just keep a close eye on them and don't make them adjust for you, you have to adjust to what they want instead

The females papilla with be thick and blunt and the males will be thin and pointy. Cockroach, if what you say is true then I have a male that lays eggs and a female that fertilizes them...

I watched your vids on your angelfish breeding, the fish you keep are very nice.
