i had a con that i thought was a male for months after i bough it.. at the time it was over 3"... a few months later it mated and layed eggs with a proven male con tank mate...she never did develop an orange belly like the other females and she was far larger than them but def 100% female con.... how big is the fish in the pic??? notice the narrow head.... thats a female shaped head or juvi male....
my guess would be against the grain as i am guessing female...unless it is under 2"...if it is i cant say for sure....

i would have to agree with female...

the finnage is super short and has the body shape of a female... even my girlish looking males have long fins... also the irridescence is usually much more predominant in females..

I had 15 convicts that i thought were all male as there was no pink on any of their bellies. Turns out that they were half male, half female. I've had convicts that were female without pink on their bellies.
