here is a picture, it is only 2 and a half inches long, it def looks like a female, which makes me mad, but is there a chance as it gets bigger it turns into a male???? or starts to show male like charastics???

looks to be female to me.All 30 juvie that my friend gave me at two and three inches were put into a black gravel tank,then the speckles on the males would show.all the female would look like the one in your picture.Then i give them back so he can sell them.
all i can say is it dont look like my little 3incher (im talking about the dovii

Here is a picture of mine at 2.5" a few weeks ago. He's over 4" now. 
BTW, if I had to guess at yours I would say male. But again, it's a crap shoot at that size unless you have one with very strong colors early on.

Mine are about the same size and one has blue and red dotted fins like the above. I assumed it was a male and the rest are female. They are 2-3" long. The blue hugh came in a week ago. I do have black gravel as well.
