male or female dovii or still too young?

Don't know but they can keep doing what they are doing as long as I get good deals. Do dovii need to be paired or will they mate pretty easily if it's just the 2 in the tank. I'm going to get the temp up to about 82 and water conditions are great. Any other tricks to inducing spawning?

Had a pair of doviis mated less than a year old. didn't seem to need any special requirements or treatments?

Yes for the pair. They had 3 left and want $25 for 3 but the other one didn't look real good. Kinda beat up so I just grabbed the 2.

definantly male and female, mine usually spawn after a larger cooler water change, i prep them with earth worms so the female gets nice and plump and full of eggs, water change then boom eggs the next day

I know what you mean. I have yet to see an umbee. Saw a dovii once 3 years ago and scooped him right up
