Hi guys, putting serious consideration into getting this guy, just debating whether I want to commit to the requirements of this species.

Anyway

I'm not familiar with sexing these, but from what Iv researched I would say male?
It's a steal here in the UK at £9.95 and trust me when I say Iv found it extremely difficult to find one

What size is it, I am going to say female.
Where abouts in the UK are you
 
If it had spots above the central line it'd be a male... Because it doesn't atm I'd say its likely to be a female.
 
But the tried n trusted method is this.....

Hold a "Credit card" about 3 inches away and if it starts to get excited, its definately a female.

If I'm honest it was the speckles on the Gill plate that made my doubt myself, I orig ally though female which is what I wanted because of eventual size. The funny thing is there was a male in the shop, and I could see the dramatic difference, but when I got home and started googling it placed doubts!
Will have a think about it and see what a few others think. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Do you have any one importing .... Then you may try Jeff Rapps.... Ships international and you definitely have to shell out even more

i had to hunt for ages to get mine and i get the from wharf aquatics worth dropping aquaman45 aquaman45 a Pm here works there.

that's a female and if you think males are hard to find females are harder so snatch it then look for a male lol

failing all that if your not in a rush next time mine have a litter, ill bag up a few fry and post them to you, just cover the postage
