Where did you acquire those Festae? Are the prices comparible to a Festae with stripes (not sure if there is a special name for the particular types or strains)? Did you grow them out?

I got them from a lfs but they were traded in from someone else that got their parents from COA so they are f2 rio tumbes. I paid $80 for the pair. From what I've been hearing its common in the Peru strain but that's just word of mouth.

Males is 5.5" and the female is 4.5"

you see that long full black Dorsal? That's a female's marking telling you it's a female.

Can males at that size or any size have a long full black dorsal? That is cool the fish is a female. I am excited for her to turn more of a deep red color!
