Rofl!!! Look no offense to you two guys, but you are both wrong. I know neither one of you don't have enough experience with festae to give an accurate opinion. Im sure you both are just trying to help. but the only real help your doing is confusing the OP. Both his Festae are indeed 100% Female. Once you've gained the experience needed, you both will come back to this thread an laugh
I really think the fish is a female; after moving the fish to a different environment more suitable to the Festae, the transformation was astounding! Her colors came out and the gender became much more apparent in my opinion. I do not think that guy really knew the gender, I think he was just impatient and perhaps even a little bit naive, but I do not know. I certainly do not think the Festae possibly resembles a male now though! The little one I am still unsure though, I am not quite experienced enough to identify the gender yet considering the size.

LOL, I just think the differences in opinion tend to be interesting, although I can tend to recognize people who have better credibility and accuracy with the topic.
I certainly do not think the large Festae is s male now; the female is conveying characteristics in which are obvious now! I really appreciate your help with my Festae, as well as The Animal Guy's help! Hopefully in time you guys can help me gain the insight and capability to more accurately identify the genders of a Festae atvthe fish's very young age and size. So you are confident my small Festae is a female too? Still to young for me to identify accurately.

Sorry it took so long FreshWaterPredators, my phone is experiencing difficulty with the app and importing photos, so I had to use my PC. This is the little Festae that is about two and a half inches including the tail. I am hoping male but what do you think?
