male or female festae?

It is hard tell to at that size. All juveniles have spots on the body and fins. In the later stage, males will retain the spots and females will have black coloration on the dorsal fin.

from the pix on the 1st page, i'd say it is a male, but the pic on the 2nd page lead me to think it's a female. anyways, yea, one big difference in male and female in early julvi stage is the black marking on the front 3/4 of the female's dorsal fin. o, about ordering from jeff rapps, i think it's aiite for u to do that, cuz i heard the 5"-6" that jeff have are actually barely pushing 5", including tail that is. so ur 4" is just rite
