Male or female jaguar? Please help

I agree with Brazzen,
Males usually sport lots of smaller spots on the gill plate, your pic shows a few larger ones, normally a female trait.
And males profiles are usually higher and more pronounced, in you pic the shape is more streamlined (torpedo like), a female trait.
Of course if it is a subordinate individual in the tanks hierarchy (the convicts and oscars being temporarily dominant) this can affect the way a gender presents.
There are many factors that can influence how a cichlid instinctually looks while fitting into the hierarchy of a tank.
