Mhm, with 'texans' there are 4 'types'.

What people most commonly refer to as a 'texas' (or a 'true texas' sometimes) is Herichthys cyanoguttatum. It has very small pearlings (looks like small dots/beads/circles) and are much more regular, it terms of shape, size, pattern and distribution.

The green texas is Herichthys carpintis. They have larger pearlings than a 'texas', and the pearlings are much more irregular in terms of shape, size, pattern and distribution. Also they tend to have wormings on their face. The Super Green Texas is a variety of Green Texas that has a deep coloration to them, most commonly found in Escondido and Vontehillo (hence both H. carpintis var. Escondido and var. Vontehillo are commonly referred to as Super Green Texas), though it is more a state of coloration so any Green Texas can be called a Super Green Texas, regardless of its collection locality/origin, so long as the coloration is very pronounce.

'Blue texas' is a term oftenly referred to either H. cyanoguttatum or H. carpintis, so long as there's a blue coloration to it. Given that Green Texans can switch between blue and green at will, and that means that the term is useless. Especially since it has also been used to refer to other Herichthys species. So just don't use this term, it'll just cause a huge amount of confusion.

The 'red texas' is actually a hybrid, of either H. cyanoguttatum or H. carpintis (or both) and some other species that produces a hybrid which is red in coloration, has a similar body shape to a Herichthys, and has pearlings. Given this three states that needs to be satisfied for a fish to be called a 'red texas', it actually is more of a designation/description, than a specific strain of fish. So if you crossbreed a green texas and a flowerhorn and half comes out red, with pearls and stuff, then they're referred to as red texas. The other half that isn't red or whatever are just referred to as a Green Texas x Flowerhorn cross. Or just 'flowerhorn', actually, since it's an amalgam anyways. A 'super red texas' is just one that shows an amazing red coloration, much like a super green texas shows an amazing green (or blue) coloration.

Still looks male Imo but I'm not 100% either.
