Riverside Aquariums at campsie. They had a breeding pair and these were its offspring, there was about 10 left when i was last there a few weeks ago. Are you from Sydney?

Oh yea its a struggle to find anything remotely exotic in Sydney let alone Canberra hahaha.

The spotting is there at a very small size, like I said I can see it in the fins of very small 2" Dovii. It does become much more pronouned the more the mature.

If you want a male try and pick out ones that show spotting in the unpaired fins and get a group of 4 or so and you should get a male. It might be tough as they will be stressed and fliying around the tank. The spotting might not show as good if they are stressed. If there are a bunch of small fry and you cant sit there and pick out the best odds for a male I would scoop up 6 and grow them out. You will be able to spot a male and watch them all develope over time.
