looks like a female to me but I'm no expert. I would expect to see a bit more blue on the operculum at that size if it were a male.

Trailers and red on the top of the head say male to me, but its the body shape throwing me off!

How big is it? I think it is a female as well. Females do get trailers as well. They can be tricky though so keep us posted.

Size will help a lot because as you said the shape says female but it could just be a very chunky male.
