That is a beautiful Sajica! Nice photos too. It's an underrated cichlid.

When I first got him he was about 3/4-1" and now he's somewhere around 2.5-3". He looks like he's alot bigger but he's really not.


There's these Sajicas and the gold ones, I'm not sure if the gold variety were collected from another locale or were selectively bred from these.


These are pretty easy to sex

Thanks for the info man, I didn't know Sajica could be sexed at that size. I'm going to have to take a closer look at mine in the AM.
