So I guess there's barely any eggs left and the ones that are left were white. Only a few brown, possible sterile father ?

Hm, nah I if the father's sterile then the eggs probably wouldn't turn brown in the first place - prolly just bad parental care. Is this the first time the RTM laid eggs?

Yeah very first time ever! Was bummed too Idk how hard it will be to get the to breed again.

Prolly not hard, if a bond has developed they'd breed again. The reason why eggs turn white post-fertilization is due to stuff like fungal growth, which mom prevents by fanning and stuff buy she might be stressed (oscar maybe?) and therefore does not do a good job. Or again, maybe just inexperienced.
