First I heard that the cops lit him up but then I heard that he was able to shoot and kill himself.
 
This is why every person needs a gun, lol people would be less likely to go on a shooting rampage if the people they were shooting at had guns to shoot back at him.(counter by people who hate gun) There should be no guns then he wouldn't have a gun to start with. (counter by gun lovers) The bad guys will always have a way to get a gun if there outlawed or not, lol just look at drugs, you can't have those and there everywhere lol

I think your looking at it the wrong way. People may be able to get guns either way but most of the people that do these random shooting / killing sprees are mentally messed up and making it easy for them to get guns makes it more likely to happen. Where if guns were banned like in Canada most people that acquire guns illegal are into illegal things like drugs. Ans generally those people keep to themselves and only mess with other gang/ drug related people and these people won't really be accepted tto mentally physco people. So make guns as difficult as possible to prevent these. But of course there is always exceptions and that's just my opinion. Things are going down under with all these shootings. My city iis murder capital of Canada :s

Or on the flip side, al those untrained scared people shooting randomly will cause more innocent deaths.

I agree, anywhere in the US they have banned guns, the crime there has skyrocketed i.e. chicago/washington DC .. In all these shootings, I keep thinking, "why wasnt anyone armed and able to end that quickly?"

And the answer I think is obvious... make laws against guns and the responsible people will follow them even if they know its wrong. Criminals dont care either way but its much safer for them if they are the only ones armed.

The only good thing about this and the school shooting us that the perps are dead so no money has to be spent taking care of them while in custody...would have been better if they were shot and killed by the authorities rather than taking their own lives...
