Mama rays and questions about going into labor....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well, sorry for your loss, but I think this can serve as a good thing for prospective ray owners and breeders. Don't buy an already pregnant female and have her shipped. Not meant as any insult to you, just thought maybe it would be good to turn this thread into something useful. Again, sorry for your loss.

Oh man Im real sorry for your loss. Doesn't sound like there was much more you could have done for her/them. Keep your head up bro.

When she seemed to be in prolonged labor could you see the pups tail sticking out? That's what has happened to me and I had to help her remove the pups for fear of losing mom as well. Sorry man.

sorry to hear man

all sounded like normal labor behaviors but it took way too long so something was deff wrong. all the things u listed like panting, swimming up the glass, etc up until the actual birth is usually only a matter of hours.

keep your head up, crap like this happens to everyone
