I've heard of another case relating to an aquarium a while ago. I think there are a lot of other things that come into play such as the person's age, immune system, and health. It is something to think about when we are putting our hands in that fish water.

bah this just shows the importance of cleaning your wounds. Rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, etc. You don't need fish water to get the same kind of reaction. There are plenty of bacteria that will cause the same results to an open wound.
