A GG is a giant gourami. Thanks for the thought. I'm gonna watch him through the week to see how he does.

I was wondering the same thing (about GG) ... wow, i did not realize these are agro fish ... i have seen these with arapaimas before ... i was considering adopting one (elephant eared version) to live with my paimas RTC and gars, but now that i see what it is capable of ... i am not so sure now ... sorry for your loss (saw the other thread)

Sorry to hear this... Get rid of the GG and replace the Aro with another.

Giant Gouramis are the worse company our fish can have.

i would not hurt that GG.. remenber everyone.... GG would not be like this in the wild... we put fish in our tanks and sometimes they take on a different behavior simply because they just do not have the option of leaving the scene... as unfortunate as this is... and this is a biggee... i would just find another home for the GG.. if i did not have a place to safely keep it..

I agree. I have raised this gg since it was little. Found it a new home and is going to be a single specimen in a nice tank. If I had room, I would've prolly kept her. Might have been mad at 1st, but it would never be my intent to hurt her. She is still a good tankmate to everyone else, she just has a passion to pick on anything silver.
