Bad pet choice.

lol

Note : Man o wars aren't jellyfish.

Closely related though. They are actually a huge colony of hyrozoa as opposed to a large organism.

Yep
Isn't it 3 main parts?:)

It could be three. Its been a while since I've read about them. I know there are a few different specialized cells.

Now all this man o war talk makes me want to look up some more about them. Very interesting creatures.

Well we usually apply the term jellyfish to all three scyphozoa, hydrozoa, and cubozoa. It is a very loosely applied term. A man of war would still require a massive tank due to the very long tentacles.

if your still interested in a "jelly" type aquarium...look at monterrey bay aquariums jelly info page...very informative.. i like the small setup they use for their wind sailors...unknown scientific name to me...sorry.

but still way cool. good luck. also, feeding should also be an issue..right?

Not sure of the species...but my LFS had a 10g HEX tank with small jellies (2-3 inches) that did great for years until they were all sold...

oo i read these guys are like polyps or some sort liek 4 different kinds =D wow four different kinds of Poplyps SEt sailed and wander off and sting anything they touch =D
