In China, man barges into a classroom with an 8 inch knife and starts slashing a bunch of 4-5 year olds.

28 wounded, 5 in critical condition.

security guard and teacher also wounded.

WHAT THE FREAK IS GOING ON WITH THESE PEOPLE??!!! Kids??? why the hell target kids???

Apparently, it may be a copy cat crime. there have been recent attacks on other kids including a man that just got executed for attacking school kids resulting in the death of 8 students. It appears that the programs for the mentally ill people in China are inadequate to say the least.

stuff like this just horrifies and sickens me, having children of my own, I just cannot fathom the idea of attacking helpless children

Same here,I can't stand to see children suffer....Unlike in this country,I'm almost certain that they have something really nice planned for this individual.

i work with a chinese guy

he said this is the third time in the last month something like this happened

he attributed it to the immense pressure put on people there to succeed, eventually they just snap

unfortunately, there are things people here in the US (and many other countries) have done to children that are actually worse than stabbings

my aunt and uncle are missionaries in china, they've been doing it for almost 10 years. the stories they tell will bring you to tears, literally.

they told me about people that would kidnap small children, break their legs or somehow cripple them. they'd get these children to think they belong to the kidnappers, and they'd put them to work. what kind of work? begging. they'd drop a child off at busy areas at corners in the morning with an empty cup or something. people passing by will give them money here and there, then at the end of the day, the kidnappers pick the kids up and collect.
