could i buy some from you hard to find aroud here?

Yeah, I agree that $10 would be a fair offer for the jag. I was at a LFS today and saw them trying to sell a 4" jaguar for $20. I got a good laugh out of that one. They were also trying to sell little 1.5 - 2" jags for $7.50 a pop. It is good to support the smaller LFS, but you can find a few PetsMart stores that sell small jags for $3.50 each. Best of luck with your fish. Try selling it at the store. Someone will find it interesting and hopefully they can give it a good home.

If you ever make it to the indy area....let me know. We can get tons of jags around here.

i appreciate evryone feedback on selling my fish. i am new to selling them outside of where i work and i want to have good, fair prices for the fish i sell as well as making a small profit. thanks!

Jags aren't exactly rare fish. There are some 1.5" ones at my LFS for $4. A 3" specimen should be no more than $10, probably less.

Ill sell my last batch of 1-2" fry @125 of them for 50 bucks..... :headbang2
or they will go in my aro's belly like the rest of them :naughty:

Don't want to steal your trend man....but these fish are just not the ones to try to make a profit off of....IF it was a adult M/F breeding pair then 50 bucks would be a fair price....If I was you Id sell it at your pet store.....other than that it's hard to sell a unsexed 3" jag for more than that unless its got a diamond inside of it!
