Managuense tank size

Ok, I've heard many MINIMUM tank sizes listed for jags: 55, 75, 125, ect. What I wanna know, is what size aquarium would be COMFORTABLE for a single male managuense. Sand gravel, no decorations except for one hiding spot. Again, I don't want to know minimum size, I want to know what a managuense, alone, light decor, would be happy with. Right now mine is in a 55, but he is only 4 inches. I know I get to upgrade soon, do I just wanna know what size to get. I was personally thinking about a 150-180.

My pair did just fine in a 75. A 75 is a minimum with a 125 being an ideal tank size.

If you manage to grow out a male to monster size, I'd go 180 if you have the option.

Imo its important to have that 6ft swim length and if grown to monster size like aclockworkorange said, its important to have the 24" width. Go 180 if you can...who wouldnt want a 180 anyway.

If you saw a friend of mines male u would think twice about 90-120. Atleast a 125 min but that's pushing the limit as a 180 would be ideal and fit this beast of a fish better.
