Go for it Jc1119! Part of cichlid keeping is the surprise factor IMO! I think its worth it to find out if the jag will work in your tank! If it does youll have a sexy addition and wont be kicking yourself later on!!!

You should experience some fighting but nothing to crazy and the pleco will be fine, probably won't even notice them.

The plecos are my biggest concern really. Unfortunately, at their size it would mean death to both fish most likely. No way she'd get one of the smaller L75's down, but they are really quick have loads of cover and are used to big fish competing for food.

Oh..... She's in the qt tank. Doing a real quick water change. Let her settle a bit
