Manaugense or community?

Heres the deal. I am moving my 100g tank from my room at my moms house to the living room at my dads house.
At my moms place the tank was in the room and not "for show".
Well i have slowly been trying to build up a community for cichlids that max out at 6". But still i only hava a male con and male fm (still small).
My dad really likes the large massive, large, aggressive fish like piranha (not agro tho) and glassbanging cichlids.
I have been thinking if i should get 5 young jags to grow out alone in the tank, let them grow... Then have 1 glassbanging male Jag. OOORRR build up a community cichlid tank /w no geophagus.

So,

1. Glassbanging Male Jaguar
2. Cichlid Community

i think you would have better result's if you said what would be in your cichlid community, but as u just put managuense or cichlid community there's going to be an obvious winner.

my 13-14" jag is in a community tank with 14 African's/1 electric blue jackdepsey/ + 7 giant danios and + 30 clownloaches sizes 2"-8" and they are still doing fine. My jag doesnt mess with smaller fishes that are no danger to him he does bite fingers tho
test the waters maybe you can do both.. I was going to give my jag away cause i simply didnt have the space for him till i thought about adding him to my 210g just to see how he will do and it all worked out perfectly for 1 month.

Well my tank is only 100g.

Get a Male and female Jag' .

And then upgarde to a larger tank when they both get too big for the tank .

A sand or very fine gravel for Sub' , a few large round rocks , large peices of wood and a few fake plants and the tank will look amazing ( IMO ) .
