In my opinion i'd say a cichlid community would look the best.
White sand with natural looking bogwood and rocks, and if you can afford it, a back to nature 3D background. Have a male convict, male firemouth, male t-bar, male nicuagurense, and a pair of cutteri.
Would look perfect IMO.
