Mangaunese Cichlid?

they will eventually most jags are not lookers in their juvi stages its when they mature that the true colors/jag print come out till then you have dark parallel bars really nice aggressive fish i have 2 3 to 4 inchers from this male female combo if anyone want one ill sell both for 10 bucks

This is a wild caught Managuense from La Cieba Honduras. It's one of the nicest I own...and have owned. Their unique blue coloration really makes them "pop".

They will continue to grow throughout their life as will all fish. I would say for full development you are looking at three - four years. At that age they not only get longer...but also deeper and thicker in body.
 
Actually my exp. with Jags is that as juvies they get bullied a lot-torn fins and even death. Not until they reach 7-8 inches that they become aggressive.
