I first collected and planted Mangrove pods from the sea, (Propogules) back in 2021.
They were planted in hollow bamboo, sand filled stems in my sump.
They have finally been producing noticeable stilt like roots, that (To me) actally resemble Mangrove trees.

Here´s the thread started almost 5 years ago.

One of the biggest headaches that come with keeping mangroves, is that they naturally attract detritus around the roots and collect it to help sustain stability, in a somewhat volatile environment
So I need to vacuum around the roots often, or the tank ends up with alot lot of loose floating particulate.
But not only with mangrove, a similar phenom occurs even with Pothos, ot terrestrial s with roots draped in the tank.
