Mantilla max size??

Well this is a bunch of "teacup". I don't even give a "mantilla" anymore. These "loose" terms just add to the mess. The plot thickens and I become more confused. Thanks Miles!!!!! Maybe we should just ban the use of these terms alltogether. I have a stingray......and I think it's purdy. LOL And I'm leaving it at that.
 
Its okay.. some paid hundreds of dollars to become more scientifically confused..

I'm too much of a newb to be anything but learning.... :) The more I learn the more bitter I get towards the way things are. Maybe it would be to my advatage to simply not care, throw them back into a 55, and go get me a Liger. Now that would be hawt!!! I hear they only get the size of a black lab.......... :)
 
this ray was captive breen in a tank with a henlei/motoro mother and a pure motoro father. there was never a matilla in the tank. the mother of this ray is around 20+ inches im pretty sure.. the ray can get to 20+ for sure
 
I didn't think she was anywhere near done growing. It's grown 2 inches across since I got her from you.
 
she is still young. I think she is around 2.5 years old
 
Looks like what they call red pearl in thai. This definately not a wild caught mantilla from brazil, its more likely a hybrid ray. And for your info, they do grow huge, aka like motoro.
