hey you piranha lovers out there :headbang2

need tips whether it is safe to mix an s manueli and s elongatus in the same tank. the tank size is around 200 galons. the fishes are about the same size around 5"

thanks guys

caribemod + bigshawn: thx guys...but currently i am putting my spotted silver dollar with the manueli just today and so far so good. i know you guys are probably right but i just cant resist the thought of seeing manu and elong living side by side in one tank. would've been an awesome sight!

Trust me we all wish we could do stuff like that but the thing about p's is that they have poweful teeth and jaws , so a simple nip could end the other ones life:)

Don't risk it!!! If you absolutely wanted to do it put a strong divider in-between the two. Try a Clear plexi-glass divider so they could see each other all the time and post a video!!

if you want both to live and unharmed then keep them in separate tanks.

I say go for it. Just keep us updated so that when one kills the other we can see who was right.
LOL

i like the way you think

question though, who do you think would emerge victorious if he did put them together ?

just put a barrier in between and you will be fine
