i had my old manny in a 240 split with my GDR for 2 1/2 years... he did fine. Manny was 9" and the GDR was 10".. until my cousin feed him some mcdonalds hamburger
now i have some new mannys and a lock to get in the fish room

got another question for all of you, can we keep a shoal of manuelis?
 
I think a shoal of Manuelli's would be near impossible in home aquaria.

To successfully pull it off, you'd probably need a big tank, and the willingness to lose a few fish. I mean a big tank.

you can try it .... if you had a 1000 gallon tank
 
i belive pikey was talking about setitng up a 3800 gallon pond IMO that would be the minimum for a shoal of large serra's
