many sponge filters on one air tank?

well i guess before going on is this the best way to do a fish room? by that i mean value for $ etc...not just the best way to actually do it...i really would want to stay away from any sorta of cental system as i think that keeps u from keeping fish w/ diff phs etc...and out break would bea mess even if u had a contamination tank...it would be difficult to move things in and out...as if u bought a 12" gar and got 10 quarter size discus lol...etc etc...i mean if it really comes down to it i can just get filters for each tank but that would be an absolute mess...i see most people do the pvc w/ air filters but it seems like they do that with a specific goal in mind. i.e. i'm gonna have 20 20 gallon tanks...where as i am planning to just grab cheap tanks as i find them...so the abilty to change would be huge...however i didn't realize that even w/ the splitter u would get seperate pressures. I thought in 1 continous hose uneffected based on angles would give a constant pressure. sigh...this just gets more confusing.

btw long term i would say more than 10 less than 100 lol...more towards 15 range of tanks...maybe a little more...money is 100% not an issue but i want to "side business" something with fish so costs are important to making profitable...i went to a lfs which has individual filters and another that had...the pvc but it was all covered up so i couldn't really see how they did it. Also, any idea how to do water changes pretty conviently with a lot of tanks.

I figured using 2 garbage cans in a closet yes this is a spare bedroom to my house leaving one for moving water in and another for taking the dirty water out...along with putting supplies above would give me the entire room basically for tanks. I bought a no spill and fill python from drfosters or w/e but it works like complete junk...anyone ever use the little pump to get the line started...and what size power heads do people normally use on those.
