It is an OB peacock.

Heres a photo of the male....i noticed today he was showing a hint of blue and yellow (in photo), but nothing since. Will hopefully come back with full colour!

He's so pretty!! How big is he?

I know what ya mean I have about 70 baby obs I'm waiting and waiting for to color up... They are 4 months old still not much color just lots of blotches, these guys take longer to clor up alot iof peacocks do especially if there is already a dominant male peacok colored up... keep us posted he is gonna be worth the wait I think!!

Awesome! I hope your right! I hope that they will have fry and that there will be other people out there who want them!
BTW, at what size can you sex peacocks? What size do males start showing colour? Ive just bought some fry at different sizes (different batches), and the larger one's are grey and stripy (just bigger than your thumbnail size). Are these all female? I'd be gutted if they were, because I was supposed to be buying benchi's (Yellow peacocks).

They need to be much much larger to show color. Worse, not all males will show color. Often if you remove one male, you have another one pop up. 3-4 inches is a good size to see color.

I've been growing out some baenschi fry and the dominant male of the group started coloring up at about 1-1.5", he is about 2-2.5" now and has a lot of yellow and his face is getting more blue. Same thing with my ngara flametail fry.

I have heard that the ob peacocks take longer to color up is there a very big difference between different types of peacocks as to when they get there full color spectrum... It seems like it... Wow those are great types you got there!! I love the color of beanschi and flametails are awesome!

Ive never dealt with ob's so I am not sure about them. Every fish is different though.
