Marble Catfish/Achara Catfish

I am getting two of these guys in the mail today, they are said to be 4". I have a 20 gallon quarantine tank that they will be going into for a couple weeks to make sure all is well with them. My plans are to sell one and keep one in my 1100 gallon pond. I got them for 46 bucks including shipping, good price? Is there anything special I should know about the care of these guys?

I have one in my 55g grow out tank. Its about 3.5 inches. I paid aroumd $20 for it a few weeks ago. A lfs in sacramento has a 8-9" marble for $49

I got mine from a guy on ebay, Ill let you know how they look once they arrive (still waiting on the truck). The sellers name is orandaimporter or something like that.

The fish just arrived in what appears to be great health, the packaging was excellent and the water was still pretty clear!! The fish are beautiful and their patterns are amazing!

are there any particular foods that these guys love? Id like to give em a good first meal in the new tank. I have bloodworms on hand.

Those are beauties. And you got them for a steal in my opinion. General pim care. They will eat just about anything and everything. do you know if they are on prepared foods? or live? I would start with frozen bloodworms and krill and then work your way to pellets. Maybe one day i'll break down and get one of these.
