Just heard back from Tom at Aquascape Chicago where she came from. He originally purchased her from his exporter in South America as a wild caught female. Just wanted to confirm with on that before posting.

Looks like the first pic, the ray was stressed(obvious). Now it's just settled in nothing special IMO. No drastic change. Just darker color plus from substrate too.
