Update the marble hatchetfish are doing well. I'm going to buy 3 more soon. Feeding Tetramin and freeze-dried bloodworms. Thought about Feeding wingless fruit flies but don't think the wife will like that.

That was all they had. The Wetspot Tropical Fish has them in stock but going to wait until it warms up.

I actually ordered and paid for 20, but got an email that they sold out and got a refund.. tried Aquatic Clarity which has the same Peruvian variant, but they only have 12 left.. hit them up if interested...

According to sites like fishbase, Marble Hatchets are endemic here in eastern Panama , but i haven´t found any yet.
They are on my wish list to collect.

Got lucky today the same lfs had 3 marble hatchetfish now have 6.

I've never had luck with hatchet fish glad to see yours are doing well

Update the 3 marble hatchetfish I added didn't survive long but the first 3 are doing well. The hatchetfish will go after any food below the surface. They are skittish but territorial. I use a Marina breeding box for water changes to drip acclimate.
