Marble lost her appetite.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
is she alone? is there a male with her? you will know when it is comming when the male is sniffing her. :)

I think that they also may have the pups sooner when the male is chasing her around. Mine went the longest when the male was seperated from her. As soon as i put him in with her, she had the pups within a few hours.

oh yea, and my guess is 6 pups! if i win a free pup...right :)

Dont worry about the appetite, ive experienced it too with my Rays, shes looks very ready doesnt she.......all the best this time round,it was probably the move that killed the other two pups.......my guess is 4 pups!!!!

:popcorn:

im guessing 3 pups

when did u move her out of the pond?

my female usually stops eaqting 1 to 2 days b4 giving birth

Geez... I guess I was really expecting more given her size.

Yes she is alone. I moved her out of the divided pond on Friday. She is now all alone in a 3x4 tank ran off the same system.

Not 100% but I think there should be at least 2 more rays giving birth by late Nov or early Dec......

One thing I've learned..... It sure does take Marbles a while to hit maturity..... At least the ladies.

moved a pregnant ray, everybody told me that is a no-no... :)

i moved mine after she got knocked up and its all good so far ;)

I know.... I figured mine would pop after I moved her. BUT the tank is plummed to the pond (same water, same filter). Don't know what part is supposed to be stressfull, is it the actual move or adjusting to new water chemistry? I just used a big tote with holes in the bottom to move her. She didn't seem to mind much.

Didn't want to but had to. Jim's rays threw a wrench into things..... :nilly:

I believe I'm at full capacity now, at least till I move and can build a pond rather than a puddle like I have now. :(

Good Luck bro! :popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:
