I'm pretty sure the father of the pup was not the marbled male, it was the other male I had in the tank. But, the next litter will be different;)
 
i have a pair that i spent quite a bit on. the male looks llike a potential beauty, but the female looks like a plain jane normal motoro. Hope i will see some transformation soon.
 
Also, i have a 13" male motoro that has some small yellow specks around the spots. They are more obvious around the eyes. Anybody has motoros that look like this? Will these specks become more obvious and start showing all over the body?

Looks like yours is going to be a nice ray someday too..

I think it depends alot on the collection location, from what I understand namely the Colombian rays become marbled with age.. while Peruvian rays, although some nicer than others, lose their spotting as they age..

Here is a nice peruvian rays with lots of spots on its eyes.. wish I would of kept it to find out what it would turn into.. I don't think it would ever become marbled though.

here is a 4" to 5" many spots with yellow in the center i have a nother one with him that was the same way but it seems as if it is loosing color and just looking like the rest of the peru motoros

how big? looks like there is some pattern between spots. hope it turns out to be nice for you.
