marble pregnancy size?

DEF see movement there. she looks IDENTICAL to that male i had b4 he passed. congrats on the pick up man. looks great!
thats the same size as well 8" across but yours looks really good. since they are wild cought im curious to see what they have in store for us pup wise. thanks for posting it up DB

I'm nowhere near out of the woods yet. Of all the Marbles I have only 2 were wild caughts. A few more where WCs that others had luck with but many are either CB or several years captive. There's a reason for that. I've had so many that seem fine the 1st week or 2 then turn around and up and die for no reason.
These guys were boxed for about 28 hours. Water was warm but fouled big time. They both were still shedding slime this morning and both have some grey patches that are cause for concern.
Both the male and female are about 8" across....
The layovers due to Valentine weekend really pushed these guys, but Nice to see they arrived well. This was the only female that looked pregnant but movement hadn't been seen.
Here's a pic of them right before Bagged up, which shows how much the color is washed out at the warehouse, as opposed to home in a tank -
I don't know how long these rays may had been held at the Colombian exporter before coming in. Its rainy season and I theorize that its breeding season. I do know that that is 4 female Marbles in a row that come in Pregnant. Jeffers, Alans, Bravehearts, and this one -
This one being the largest at 11" and more of the breeding size expected. The other 3 were/are all in the 8" Range. This one was special ordered for this size BTW, so sold before she even came in.

I bet mine are colored up a bunch by tonight... Bad trips/fouled water usually result in slime coat shedding. Once it's shed they should color up.
I'm very happy with these 2, no doubt, just don't wanna jinx anything.
Probobly not too many places out there that they'd be better off then where they're at now. No tankmates whatsoever, overkilled well established filtration, dark tank..... Thier qt 75 has probobly already had 50 gallons of new water ran through it already today.
Shipping was a lil longer then expected but not worth sweatin over... Seen them come in much worse.

I 100% agree with shipping cost!! 5boxes to us and only 75bucks! HELL YA haha. delta dash charged me 110bucks for my mmxleo from CoolMBU and the plane ride was only 1hr LMAO i was like..."what the hell" AP be taxing a brotha haha. I wish that 11" female wasnt sold already LAZ i would snatched her up immediatly!!
