Yes, same ray, other way around. I don't expect the bigger one has changed dramatically since the pics before.

Yes Toby you are of course right. The other has not changed much,as and when it does I will update. You will have to have a rainy holiday in Cornwall and come and see them next summer when they have grown.
I think being in with the hystrix has been good for them as they are having to compete for food and it has made them feed so aggressively. I am still feeding pellet first so they stay eating them, but then I am feeding chopped lobworm for the hystrix which they are gorging on! Fat bums all around!

Just for perspective, 30" wide tank, the hystrix is 6" disc. Colours in this shot are true to life. The difference between the two is clear in this pic.

It has started getting lighter. I think this one will surprise and show a massive transformation when the marbling/pearl base comes through. Hard to capture in the pic but the marbling is there.
