heey i just got a new marbled cat shark like couple hours ago , and i was looking at him , hes new to the tank , only thing in there other then a chormis , and he has a little red ness at the tail ? is that normal ? like hes still a young shark a couple months old , and it could be just the lighting and im seeing right through him letting me see the blood vessels and stuff . but please help ! i just wanna make sure everything okayy :)

He could have scraped it on a rock, or the little fish could be pestering him. Pictures would help.

now remember the lights are pretty birght , and hes like under a foot long and his tail is still pretty thin so i would just like to know if its fine

heres a pic

Its hard to say what it might be. Could be some kind of injury. I would just keep an eye on it and make sure the shark is eating well. If it ends up being a infection you'll know very quickly and from my expereiance you will se little fiberous strands as fin rots away.

well i just got the shark today ? and he hasnt moved since .. i think its normal , and how can i tell if its a coral catsharkk ? and another thing , do u guys know any other products that would be good for protein ? i just added lugol's solution - iodide supplements
