Ok I am going to have a pond in my basement for my catfish and others. I want to heat it to the minimum temp for obvious reasons. So what would be the minimum temp for a marbled pim catfish? Also this would slow down the motabolizm correct? So that would mean feeding less right? Thanks for the help guys.

I keep mine at 80-82 degrees, but I'm sure he'd be fine in the mid-70's range.

Mid 70's like 74-75?

I have has my 22'' in a out door pound around 9000gl, at one point the temp got down to around 69-70 and he was fine.

Since you have an option though on what you can heat it to, I would keep it around 74. Also the cooler temp would slow down his metabolism =ing less feedings and slower growth.

Thanks alot. That is what I thought. Thanks
