marbled goby?

I was wondering if I one would be a good fit for the fish in my 125 plus a jardini and some sa/ca cichlids (in a larger tank, obviously). one of my LFS's has a 5"er for $10. is that a good price? i know they get up to about the same size as the fish in the 125, so that should be fine, just wondering how they would get along. there doesn't seem to be too much info on gobies.

should be fine as long as the cichlids can't be eaten as far as aggression goes be more worried about the cichlids

also i think these gobys like some salt in there water

My Marbled Goby gets along fine with my cichlids. Just make he can't swallow anything in there

Marbled Goby is Freshwater, mine has no salt in the tank

sweet, i'll have to try the little bugger out. can't go wrong with $10 for an awesome 5" fish. if i didn't have more aggressive fish, i would get the 5" black lancer cat they've had forever.

i used to have one.. he spent most of his time under the gravel or in awkward positions..

ARG! Just got back from the store and it was gone. ugh.

get the lancer cats then. They are not common & should be ok with some hides spots.

i'm afraid it wouldn't get large enough and would be eaten, since they only get about 10" TL and my jar might end up at 30"
