marbled goby?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Don't trust the marbled gobies with anything much smaller than they are if you do find another. I had a 10" one eat a 8"LMB and a 6" bullhead.

i'm afraid it wouldn't get large enough and would be eaten, since they only get about 10" TL and my jar might end up at 30"

Most of the current fish you have won't live with a 30" jardini even in a 240. As the jars get way bigger then all of them except the shovelnose & maybe the knife. The lancer cat will be ok with the cichlids.

The same LFS that had that one got in a bunch more, so I picked one up. It is about 5" (the same size as the jardini). Yay, another fish that doesn't do much, lol.

This buggar ate three nice, thick 2" mollies over the last 2 days, lol. I think it's going to burst. Here is a terrible cell phone pic.

well, i found one still alive, so i guess it only got two (minus the tail of one that I had to siphon off the bottom of the tank). I think this guy will be able to go in my big tank pretty soon.

nice one. how big is it? what's it in with?

at what size do you think it would be safe w/ a 10" lap and LSN?

i have a 17"marble goby that i have had for 6 years maybe 7.i got him when he was like
1" he seems to have stopped growing now.he has been in a tank with other larger and sometimes fish his size and he has never eatin anything

It's about 8" now. Eats krill and whiting fillets. I have it in with a bunch of cichlids. Feeding is an issue sometimes with that many predators.

nice fish i wouldn't of gotten the lancer cat they don't do well with aggressive fish they like calm planted tanks with smaller peacfull tankmates
