Marbled is not = Poor man pearl ray ;-)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
awesome rays! I can only hope to have something of that wuality later in life!

Apples and Oranges I say. Each species has its own attractive attributes, and their own features. Especially rays, that have so much variation within a 'species'. There is no doubt that these Marbles are quite stunning, but again...eye of the beholder. I don't understand these 'Pearl' vs 'Motoro' and 'Leo' vs 'BD' vs 'P14', It comes off quite juvenile.

Appreciate each specimen for what it offers to you, and what you find attractive. It is in the end a manner of opinion. I can assure you, in the bigger picture a retic is just as important as a BD. We need to progress conservation.

NO! No way does it count. I can't buy one that looks like that. Don't know where you got it from or who you had to do what for in order to have it offered to you for sale..... But I know I said the typical ray hobbyist ( a newb such as myself) and you Jer are NOT a typical ray hobbyist. You OBVIOUSLY have friends in high places.

Unless you are offering me this gorgeous masterpiece of a marble?? Is that it? You want to sell this ray to me? Why didn't you just say so?

You can go ahead and PM me the price and we can go from there.

Too late, J is sending it my way!

haha JK

But DB, there are quality marbles out there man. You just have to keep your eyes open. Plus at a small size, its hard to tell which ones are nice and which ones arent so its a gamble. Spotfin's marble is a prime example of that!

Well I highly doubt that if they are gorgeous when young they are gonna loose that. I believe they improve definetly..... But do they change for the less desireable?

I KNOW Spotfin's is a real looker. That's why I can't wait to do my "What's in the box" thread tomorrow ;)

And if all goes well there will be a roadtrip in the VERY near future for the pond centerpiece.......

I'm gettin there man...... One thing is sure. It WILL be a lot easier for newcoming hobbyists to find nice Marbles then it was for me.
