thanks! I've cleaned in the tile in the tank, and it's made a huge difference all around. It's so bright now! The smaller female still hasn't shown any marbling yet, but her running spots are fading back to normal, and she is very light now.
The bigger girl that this thread is about has changed since adjustment in substrate color also. I'm just not sure if it's for the best or not. I was hoping that her base color would lighten up, and it has a bit, but not nearly as much as her marbling has lightened up! I'm not sure how she would end up looking best, on a light substrate, or dark substrate. I'll post new pics/vid when I get a chance.
