It's a fantastic looking tank. =) I hope that is not black silica. The sharp edges isn't very good for rays. I would have gone with thicker glass and less obvious bottom bracing or black bracing for a cleaner look.

Thanks. Its actually called Ceramaquartz, tiny quartz sand, coated with ceramic. No signs of scratches or abrasions. Tank was bought as a two year old used tank, so I didnt design it. But i did get it for half its cost new. Glass is 5/8 inch thick on sides and 3/4 inch thick on bottom.

Those look like healthy, happy rays! How big are they now? The blacks look 8"-10" and the marbles look 12"+!

Thanks House, Black male is 7.5 - 8 inches females are appx 7 and 6 inches each. Marbles both appx 11"
