Prohibition doesn't work, it has been repeatedly proven with alcohol. Prohibition forced growers to go "mad scietist' with cloning etc so that the content proportion of the active ingrediant (THC) has inreased by 100 tiimes since the 60's.....
While it may appear not to affect the brain in the short term for newer smokers, I think that there are long term affects for chronic users.
It has been shown to reduce seratonin levels. This is associated with creativity and concentration.
The pot industry is estimated to be the 3rd or 4 th biggest $$$ turnover in america, with an annual amount of money involved only coming behind the federal gov, the penatagon and Nasa........it seems to me that it sure would generate a lot of tax income if legalized, which makes me think that the prime reason for it remainning illegal must be about control.
It is so available these days that i don;t believe any more would smoke it than already do, and maybe a lot less would start ( using the rationale that a lot of kids do things that are illegal because they are illegal....)
