have you ever had a tank up for months/years and THEN find a hitchiker?

Haha yes, and I have blown up surge protectors too! Not to mention I forgot to drip loop one, and water ran down into the sockets and started popping, and being the genious that I am (apparently during a stupidity leak) grabbed the dang thing and shocked the crap outta myself!!

Have you ever had to pull out a dead cleaner (shrimp, crab, snail, etc) only to be attacked by the tankmates who are trying to eat the remains?

lol, well I was looking at some new live rock my lfs had just gotten in and noticed a weird lookin snail (a really beautiful shell pattern), so I told the guy unloading it that I'd give him five bucks for it. obviously he took the deal. anyway I acclimate him and everything seems fine. then, my big fuzzy hermit notices him and runs over too get a better look. well when he got close the snail ... well, it kinda tackled him... proceeded to pull him out and then ate him:eek:... I was freaking out!
any way I figured he couldnt do much more damage, so I left him through the night. then I woke up to my entire red fiddler colony dead:cry:. anyway I pulled him out and took him to a friend of mine who knows far more about snails then me. he figured it was just a weird snail lol. he had never heard of anything like it before. I then avenged my crabs by feeding it to his queen trigger. RIP random snail:ROFL:

yes i was pulling out a dead mussel and my cleaner shrimp... well let's just say he really wanted it :D

have you ever handled any of your 'dangerous' stock (lions tangs triggers etc)
 
nope ain't got no tangs :D
serafino i had to move my lion from my overflow when he jumped out... ouch!

Yep, my juvenile bamboos and the zebras (talkin 'bout sharks here, not plants and 'horses'). The Zebras are as timid as the juv. Bamboos, even when full grown. Hey, it gets boring scrubbing walls alone sometimes, gotta spice it up. LOL.

Have you ever had one of your animals Taxidermasized?... Yes, I made that word up. I'm over it.
 
wtf is that word im assumign u mean mounted/stuffed. no i have not but i did get a set of jaws from a shark i caught and was letting the ants eat all the flesh but the possums got to it :(
 
btw wat happens when one is allergic to iodine?

Posting response in your post so that we do not clog thread.
I would assume the same thing that happens when you are allergic to any other substance; Welts, Rashes, Burning/Itching at the exposure sight, Swelling of tissue at the site, and possibly more severe symptoms depending on your sensitivity and level of exposure.
